It's estimated that 3,000 Australians are diagnosed with MND each year. MND affects your mobility, speech and eventually your ability to swallow and breathe. There is no effective treatment to slow the progression, with a life expectancy of approximately 2.5 years for most. I'm using my silence to show people living with MND that they are not alone.
