The Event Partners who devised Valley Velo love the BVRT. We also love supporting charities and have existing relationships with two awesome charities, being MND and Me Foundation as well as Compass Inc. As with many people, the Event Partners have close connections with families who are supported by the wonderful work undertaken by both charities. It made sense to combine the two passions and bring Valley Velo to life.
The Brisbane Valley Rail Trail “BVRT” is Australia’s longest rail trail, a cycling adventure from Wulkuraka (Ipswich) to Yarraman. Valley Velo starts in Esk and heads toward Yarraman for all distance events, returning to the Finishers Line and Village in Esk.

Ride Distances
- · 150km event starts at 6:15am - Esk to Blackbutt, returning to Esk. Map and elevation can be found HERE.
- · 100km event starts at 7.30am - Esk to Linville, returning to Esk. Map and Elevation can be found HERE.
- · 50km event starts at 8:00am - Esk to Harlin, returning to Esk. Map and Elevation can be found HERE.
