My mate Murray is living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and a group of us have formed Mountains for Murray to raise funds for and awareness of MND.
Murray has a love for the mountains having ridden 2 Peaks Challenges in under 10hours and many many hours training in the mountains.
So from March 2 to 11 I am riding from Brisbane to Falls Creek, over the 10 days covering almost 2500km and 38000m vertical climbing then on Sunday March 13th I am aiming to complete the Falls Creek Peaks Challenge in under 10 hours.
Why? because an extraordinary cause needs an extraordinary challenge and I am up for it!
Murray can’t ‘tap out’ from his MND and I won’t tap out either. It will be difficult and my legs, heart and lungs will burn like crazy but I hope such a challenge will inspire you to support me, Murray and MND & ME. Please donate, be part of the solution and find a cure for this horrible disease.
